Danley Sound Labs
Danley has built its reputation not through slick marketing efforts but performance. Engineers describe Danley systems as experiences built around coherency, clarity, honesty, and presence.
That reaction is a direct result of Danley technologies solving acoustic problems scientifically rather than through digital processing. Danley doesn’t build technologies that approximate what great sound should be. They build products that deliver.
About Tom Danley
Tom Danley is considered one of the most inventive acoustic engineers of his generation — and one of the least interested in being described that way. His career has taken him from the development of Servodrive subwoofer technology to acoustic research for the United States military and NASA, connecting dots that most engineers never thought to draw between.
What connects all of it is a particular kind of vision. Tom doesn’t see limitations in current systems. He sees doorways. He approaches acoustic problems the way a physicist does — by asking whether the problem has been correctly defined in the first place. More often than not, his answer produces something the audio industry has never seen before.
The Synergy Horn. The Tapped Horn. The Boundary Coupled subwoofer. The Paraline lens. The Unity Horn that preceded them all. Each one began not as a product concept but as a question Tom couldn’t stop asking. Each one became a patented technology that permanently changed how engineers think about what an audio system can be.
With Cohearix, he asked the question again — and the answer is Exodus.
